The Red maple 'October Glory' (Acer rubrum) is a small pyramidal tree that produces dark red flowers arranged in clusters. They appear from March to April. The Red maple 'October Glory' also has medium green leaves. Its bark is grey and smooth. In a sunny location with lime-free, nutrient-rich, moist to wet, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 15 metres and grows to a width of around 10 metres.
