180 years of Lorberg tree nursery

7TH GENERATION - Daniel Heinrich Lorberg

The focus in production is on technology and digitalization - through the use of special technology, employees are relieved and work processes are accelerated.

In 2022, the tree nursery was expanded to include the Seeth-Ekholt location in Schleswig-Holstein.

6TH GENERATION - Stefan Heinrich Lorberg

After the fall of the Berlin Wall, the search for suitable areas began in the area surrounding Berlin using soil maps.

This was followed by six years of relocating trees, bushes and conifers from Berlin and Lower Saxony to Ketzin. The tree nursery developed from a Berlin regional tree nursery into a national and international supplier of plants. A new branch in Baden-Baden followed in 2007. To date, the Lorberg tree nursery supplies customers in around 30 countries
