The Norway maple 'Deborah' (Acer platanoides) is a broad, roundish tree that produces greenish-yellow flowers arranged in umbels. They appear in April. These produce brown winged fruits. The Norway maple 'Deborah' also has dark green leaves. The blood-red shoots are also an interesting sight. Its bark is dark grey and longitudinally furrowed. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of around 20 metres and grows to a width of around 15 metres. The Norway maple 'Deborah' makes no special demands on the soil.

The deciduous leaves of the Norway maple 'Deborah's are dark green, opposite, lobed. They are about 12 - 18 cm tall. Blood-red shoots. Norway maple 'Deborah' turns bright yellow-orange in autumn.

Bark

Dark grey, longitudinally furrowed bark makes this plant an eye-catcher in any garden.

Flower

The greenish-yellow flowers of Norway maple 'Deborah' appear in corymbs in April.
