The Norway maple 'Cleveland' also has shiny, medium green leaves. The red shoots are also an interesting sight. Its bark is dark grey and longitudinally furrowed. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of around 15 metres and grows to a width of around 8 metres. The Norway maple 'Cleveland' makes no special demands on the soil.

The deciduous leaves of the Norway maple 'Cleveland's are medium green, glossy, opposite, lobed. They are about 15 - 20 cm tall. Red shoots. Norway maple 'Cleveland' turns a bright golden yellow in autumn.

Dark grey, longitudinally furrowed bark makes this plant an eye-catcher in any garden.

Acer platanoides 'Cleveland' is a heartroot and, depending on the soil, forms finely branched roots.
