The Silver birch 'Crispa' (Betula pendula) is a large, upright tree that produces greenish-yellow flowers arranged in catkins. They appear from March to April. The Silver birch 'Crispa' also has deeply slit, medium green leaves. Its bark is white, rolling. In a sunny location, it usually reaches a height of around 15 metres and grows to a width of around 7 metres. The Silver birch 'Crispa' makes no special demands on the soil.
