When the summer is very hot and there is little rain, many municipalities encourage garden owners not to use precious drinking water for lawn sprinkling. Additionally, drinking water can become an expensive drain on the wallet for a large garden that needs a lot of watering. Therefore, a well is a cost-effective and good alternative to tap water, especially for large gardens that require a lot of irrigation.
