With its dark green leaves, Marsh marigold 'Multiplex' (Caltha palustris) is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as bee pasture, pond edges and streams. Golden yellow, pleasantly scented, double flowers appear from March to May. It prefers loose, sandy soil in a sunny to shady position. The Marsh marigold 'Multiplex' is well tolerant of frost. The clump-forming plant usually reaches a height of approx. 25 cm.

Leaves

The deciduous leaves of the Marsh marigold 'Multiplex' are dark green, roundish.

Flower

The golden-yellow, cupped flowers are double and appear from March to May. They are pleasantly fragrant.

Location

Preferred location in a sunny to shady position.

The Marsh marigold 'Multiplex' has good frost hardiness.
