The Goat's beard 'Kneiffii' (Aruncus dioicus) is a bushy perennial with decorative, pinnate, dark green leaves. From June to July, it bears creamy white flowers arranged in panicles. In a sunny to shady location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.2 m and grows to a width of approx. 80 cm. The Goat's beard 'Kneiffii' is well tolerant of frost.

Care

- If the plant is divided every 2-3 years and weak roots and shoots are removed, the reward is better growth and flowering vigour!
- If the plant is watered less frequently but thoroughly and penetratingly, the plant roots are encouraged to penetrate into deeper soil layers. This enables the plant to survive dry periods better.
