Aruncus aethusifolius

Cushion-shaped.

The deciduous leaves of the Goat's beard are medium green, pinnate. Goat's beard turns bright orange-red in autumn.

Aruncus aethusifolius forms white flowers arranged in panicles from May.

Preferred location in a sunny to semi-shady position.

The Goat's beard has good frost hardiness.

Normal soil.

Group planting, rock garden, cottage garden, grave

Water regularly and allow the soil to dry out in the meantime.

- If the plant is divided every 2-3 years and weak roots and shoots are removed, the reward is better growth and flowering vigour!
- If the plant is watered less frequently but thoroughly and penetratingly, the plant roots are encouraged to penetrate into deeper soil layers. This enables the plant to survive dry periods better.

Japanese snake's beard, spring dogwood, garden funkia 'Blue Mouse Ears'.

Planting: Autumn, depending on variety also in spring.
