The Goat's beard 'Horatio' (Aruncus aethusifolius) is a cushion-shaped perennial that forms white flowers arranged in panicles from June to July. Its pinnate leaves are medium green. In a semi-shady location with well-drained, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 90 cm and is approx. 60 cm wide. The Goat's beard 'Horatio' is well tolerant of frost.

The deciduous leaves of the Goat's beard 'Horatio' are medium green, pinnate. Goat's beard 'Horatio' turns bright yellow in autumn.

Aruncus aethusifolius 'Horatio' forms white flowers arranged in panicles from June.

Water regularly and allow the soil to dry out in the meantime.

Care

- If the plant is divided every 2-3 years and weak roots and shoots are removed, the reward is better growth and flowering vigour!
- If the plant is watered less frequently but thoroughly and penetratingly, the plant roots are encouraged to penetrate into deeper soil layers. This enables the plant to survive dry periods better.
