The Creeping Bugle (Ajuga reptans) is a creeping, evergreen perennial that produces blue, lip-shaped flowers arranged in whorls from April to May. Its glossy, egg-shaped, entire-edged, dark green leaves add to its appeal. In a sunny to partially shaded location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it typically reaches a height of about 15 cm and spreads to about 25 cm wide. The Creeping Bugle is highly frost-resistant.
