The Common yarrow 'Feuerland' (Achillea millefolium) is an upright, clump-forming perennial that produces yellow-red flowers arranged in umbels with a pleasant fragrance from June to August. Repeated flowering occurs in September with the right care. Its matt, pinnate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny to semi-shady location with loose, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Common yarrow 'Feuerland' is well tolerant of frost.

The deciduous leaves of Common yarrow 'Feuerland' are medium green, pinnate and matt.

Flower

Achillea millefolium 'Feuerland' forms yellow-red flowers arranged in umbels from June. These exude a pleasant fragrance. With the right care, re-flowering in September.

Care

- If the plant is divided every 2-3 years and weak roots and shoots are removed, the reward is better growth and flowering vigour!
- Rock garden plants love loose, well-drained soil. However, as this substrate stores little water, the plants must be watered regularly for several weeks after planting, especially in dry conditions, until they are sufficiently rooted.
