Creeping, carpet-like.

High leaf ornamental value. The wintergreen leaves of the Bidi-bidis are blue-green, pinnate, toothed.

Acaena buchananii forms white flowers from June.

The copper-brown fruits of Acaena buchananii are particularly decorative. These appear from August.

Preferred location in a sunny position.

The Bidi-bidi has good frost hardiness.

Normal soil.

Water regularly and allow the soil to dry out in the meantime.

Excess water must be able to drain away easily; waterlogging should be avoided at all costs.
