Yarrow 'Lachsschönheit' (Achillea millefolium) is an upright perennial that produces salmon-pink, umbrella-shaped flowers with a pleasant fragrance from June to July. With proper care, a second bloom may appear in September. Its matte, feathery leaves are medium green. In a sunny to partially shaded location with loose, nutrient-rich soil, it typically reaches a height of about 70 cm and a width of about 40 cm. Yarrow 'Lachsschönheit' is frost-hardy.

Flower

Achillea millefolium 'Lachsschönheit' forms umbels of salmon-pink coloured flowers from June. These exude a pleasant fragrance. With the right care, re-flowering in September.

Care

- If the plant is divided every 2-3 years and weak roots and shoots are removed, the reward is better growth and flowering vigour!
- Rock garden plants love loose, well-drained soil. However, as this substrate stores little water, the plants must be watered regularly for several weeks after planting, especially in dry conditions, until they are sufficiently rooted.
