The Pea tree (Caragana arborescens) is an upright shrub that produces yellow, butterfly-shaped flowers arranged in clusters. They appear from May to June. The Pea tree also has medium green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, sandy, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 5 metres and grows to a width of around 3 metres.
