The Californian lilac 'Marie Simon' (Ceanothus pallidus) is a bushy, branched shrub that produces pink-coloured flowers. They appear from July to October. The Californian lilac 'Marie Simon' also has lanceolate, medium green leaves. In a sunny, sheltered location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1.5 metres and grows to around 1.2 metres wide.

Growth

Californian lilac 'Marie Simon' is a bushy and branching shrub. It usually reaches a height of 1 - 1.5 m and is approx. 0.8 - 1.2 m wide. It usually grows 40 - 60 cm per year.

Leaves

The deciduous leaves of the Californian lilac 'Marie Simon' are medium green, lanceolate.

Flower

The pink-coloured flowers appear from July to October.

Location

Preferred location in a sunny, sheltered position.
