Maidenhair Fern (Adiantum pedatum) is a decorative element in the garden with its finely divided, light green fronds. Interesting details include its black leaf stalks. It thrives best in a semi-shady location with well-draining, lime-free soil. Under favorable conditions, this hardy fern reaches a height of about 50 cm and can spread up to 40 cm wide.
