Variegated Kiwi (Actinidia kolomikta) is a climbing, deciduous plant with decorative, oval-shaped, multi-colored leaves. It also bears white flowers in June. In a sunny, wind-protected location with well-draining, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it typically reaches a height of around 6 meters and a width of about 3 meters.

Growth

The Variegated Kiwi is a climbing plant, typically reaching a height of 4 - 6 meters and a width of 2 - 3 meters. It generally grows 40 - 60 cm per year.

Shoots

The shoots of Actinidia kolomikta are hollow, brown.

Leaves

High ornamental value. The deciduous leaves of the Variegated Kiwi are multi-colored, oval-shaped, and alternate. They are about 10 - 15 cm in size.

Flowers

The white flowers appear in June. They are pleasantly fragrant.

Prefers a sunny, wind-protected location.
